🌐 Valegate Global Gameplay Rules

These rules apply to all Valegate servers unless stated otherwise. You are fully responsible for your account. Appeals for someone else using your account will be rejected.

🧱 VG1. Griefing & Raiding

  • Griefing, raiding, or stealing is never allowed, even in unclaimed areas.
  • Betraying trusted members (“insiding”) counts as griefing and will be punished.

💻 VG2. Hacking, Exploits & Mods

  • No hacked clients, cheats, macros, or automation tools that give unfair advantages.
  • Exception (Global): Auto-clickers for autofarming are allowed, up to 10 CPS.
  • AFK pools are allowed, but gameplay must remain manual.
  • Cosmetic or convenience mods are allowed (e.g., Optifine, minimaps, HUDs, Schematica without printer).
  • Nether roof access is allowed unless explicitly restricted.
  • Avoid creating lag machines or fully automated farms that degrade server performance.
  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or duplication methods is prohibited.
  • Exception: Vanilla dupes (e.g., sand, TNT) are allowed if not used to grief, lag, or break other rules.

🗣️ VG3. Respect & Harassment

  • Treat all players and staff with respect and courtesy.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or targeted abuse is not tolerated.
  • Offensive usernames, skins, or builds are prohibited.
  • Keep political or global conflict discussions out of public channels.

🧑‍⚖️ VG4. Staff & Player Conduct

  • Follow all instructions from staff promptly and respectfully.
  • Do not impersonate staff members or other players.
  • Do not argue punishments in public chat; use appeals or report channels instead.

📣 VG5. Chat, Media & Advertising

  • No spamming messages, commands, or disruptive behavior.
  • No offensive, explicit, or rule-breaking media.
  • Advertising other servers, including via DMs, is prohibited.
  • Public chat must remain in English; use private messages for other languages.
  • Moderate swearing is allowed but must not be excessive or targeted.

🛒 VG6. Economy & Scamming

  • Do not scam players in trades, services, or deals.
  • Deceptive listings (renamed items, impersonation, etc.) are prohibited.
  • Real-world trading of items or accounts for money is forbidden.
  • Market manipulation (price-fixing, collusion) is not allowed.

⚔️ VG7. PvP & Combat

  • Teleport-killing, PvP traps, and combat logging are prohibited.
  • PvP is allowed only in unclaimed areas if both players have PvP enabled.
  • Safe zones must not be used to attack other players.
  • Solo PvP events must not involve teaming.
  • Hacking, cheats, or combat modifications are strictly forbidden.

🏗️ VG8. Land & Building

  • Claims must be at least 100 blocks apart unless permission is granted.
  • Do not access, bridge to, or interfere with another player’s builds without consent.
  • Offensive or inappropriate builds may be removed without warning.

👥 VG9. Alternate Accounts

  • Each player may have up to 3 alternate accounts (4 accounts total including main).
  • Abusing alternate accounts may result in penalties.

🚫 VG10. Severe Misconduct

  • Discrimination: Racism, slurs, or marginalizing anyone based on gender, sexuality, or race.
  • Encouraging Harm: Promoting violence, illness, self-harm, or suicide (even if “in-game”).
  • Malicious Bug Abuse: Major exploitation of unintended server features affecting players, economy, or server stability (Development Team authorization required).
  • Doxxing & Malicious Threats: Threatening or engaging in doxxing, DDoS, harassment, blackmail, sharing personal info, or sending malicious links.
  • Server Conspiracy & Harm: Participating in acts intended to damage Valegate, its staff, or community, including plotting attacks, disruption, or malicious campaigns.
