Hi all, I hope you’re doing well.
As 2025 comes to a close, we reach a truly monumental milestone: the end of Valegates’ 10th year of operation.
When this journey began, I’ll be honest-I had no idea what I was doing. (Some days I still don’t 😂.) I was young, driven by a vision, and determined to build something meaningful… but I never imagined I’d be standing here ten years later, confident in what we’ve built and surrounded by such an incredible community.
The road from a humble little server to the world we have today has been astonishing. We’ve celebrated triumphs, weathered losses, and faced more chaos than I can count, highlighted by unforgettable moments like the legendary Blame Connor incident, when Connor clicked a very questionable link and managed to lose us half the Discord (#BlameConnor). Connor, thank you for sticking around. You pain in my ass, you’ve become part of the lore. ❤️

To my brilliant architects, Glove and Mina:
I’ve never met a pair so dedicated, talented, and endlessly creative. From Mina’s first kitchen build to the masterpieces you both create today, hold your heads high. You’ve made magic happen time after time.
To my dear friends, Rainy and Chirry:
You two are the strongest, most caring, and most knowledgeable administrators I’ve ever worked with. You take care of each other, the community, and somehow still find the energy to keep me in line. Thank you.
To Vyzaur:
My event-planning, log-wrangling deity, thank you for everything you’ve made possible. You’re a powerhouse of creativity and reliability. (But seriously, I need more Pale Oak. Go farm.)
To Ben & Pter0x:
Brothers-in-arms against system failures, bugs, and chaos, you’ve helped forge an unstoppable machine. You have my eternal gratitude.

You are the backbone of this server. You’ve guarded this community with integrity, patience, and resilience. Thank you.
To Maddie:
Even after stepping back a bit this year, your impact is felt every day. You’ve stood beside me through everything and taken charge when life got messy. You’ve helped shape who we are.

My shark-loving Network Manager. You’ve grown so much, learned so much, and continue to amaze me. You are one of the beating hearts of this community. I am incredibly proud of you.

Ten years is a long time. Together, we’ve built something extraordinary. Every challenge, every victory, every story—shared.
Valegate is stronger than ever. This year alone has seen the biggest investments we’ve ever made—into infrastructure, development, performance, and the future of the network. There are many exciting things already in the works, and I can’t wait for you to experience what we’ve been building behind the scenes.
The Valegates community is the beating heart of everything we’ve accomplished. And as we enter the next decade, we do so proudly, united, and excited for what’s to come.
